Discover Konavle

Due to its favourable position throughout which many watercourses of Ljuta river flow, the fertile Konavle Valley used to be the main source of food in the Dubrovnik Republic. Today it is the area of numerous village households. One of which we will take you to is Kameni Mlin (Stone Mill) where you will be introduced to the old traditional ways of olive oil and flour production. The road will take us as well to the top of the Sokol Fortress, a stone fortification from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the entire Konavle valley. Afterwards we will take a stroll through the valley to see the mills along Ljuta river.

Once we have explored Konavle, the road will lead us to Cavtat, a picturesque and unique small town on the Adriatic coast which was founded on the grounds of the famous ancient Greek colony of Epidaurus.
