Palace Natali | Historic Summer Residence in Dubrovnik
Homepage

A place rooted in history

Palace Natali began as a summer residence of the Dubrovnik Republic, part of the ljetnikovac tradition of noble estates built beyond the city walls for retreat, conversation, and long days in the gardens. The estate has been carefully restored and now holds 21 rooms and suites across three buildings, at a scale where every guest is known. Palace Natali keeps the spirit of a residence where people gather, linger, and enjoy the quieter pleasures of everyday life.

Our Story

Inside the estate

The architecture is original, from the Renaissance stonework and stone courtyards to the gardens that have shaped the estate for five centuries. The restoration kept what mattered and added the comfort guests expect now. The residence carries its history openly and remains a place to be lived in.

Weddings & Gatherings

The Renaissance garden and the intimate scale of the residence make Palace Natali a natural setting for a small wedding or a private celebration. A gathering can take the whole estate to itself, held in the privacy the house was built for. Celebrations here stay intimate, in keeping with the character of the residence.

A day at Palace Natali

Each day at Palace Natali follows the old idea of otium, the cultivated leisure that the noble families of the Republic built their summer estates to protect. Three experiences shape the rhythm. The History of the Republic is a morning walk through the hallway, read as a living timeline of Dubrovnik and the ljetnikovac tradition. The Studiolo is a writing room where guests take up historical paper and pen and send a letter from the property. The Quiet Hour gathers the garden each late afternoon for herbal iced tea, reflection, and time under the olive trees. Beyond the estate, the days open onto the Old City, the Elafiti islands, and the quieter corners of the region.
